Dahlia, Thank you for letting us know about Doushpera. Where is the largest population of Bukharians currently? I think there are many commonalities between the dishes of Central Asian countries - Humaira

Bukharians, which are cousins to Afghans, as they share a border have a version of this called Doushpera. Since Jews don't mix meat with dairy, there is no yoghurt, but almost identical.

I am proud that Afghan cuisine is slowly getting its notoriety.
